Privacy Policy for recruitment tool

1. Introduction
InnoGames GmbH (“InnoGames”, “We”, "Us") is the data controller in respect of your personal data and is committed to protecting the privacy of your personal data. This privacy notice (the "Notice") will help you understand what personal data we collect and how we use it in case you apply for a position with us. This Notice will also clarify how you can exercise your rights when you trust us to handle your personal data.
2. What and how we collect data from you?
When filling out the application form for a support position with InnoGames, you provide us, and we collect the following data from you:
- full name.
- contact usernames.
- date of birth.
- country of residence.
- IP address.
- relevant experience for the role.
- past and current usernames.
- e-mail address.
3. How long will my data be stored?
Your personal data will be stored for as long as is necessary for the application process. It will be automatically stored in our applicant management system for up to four months after we have received your application. This does not apply if mandatory legal provisions and/or governmental or judicial orders prevent such deletion, or if you have expressly consented to a longer retention period in the Talent Pool (see Section 4).
4. Can my data be stored for future job postings?
InnoGames has established a Talent Pool, which you may join during the application process. In this case, you allow InnoGames to store your personal data for a period of eight months from joining the Talent Pool, and to access such data in order to share future opportunities with you. You will only be added to the Talent Pool if you explicitly provide consent for this. You may revoke this consent at any time without providing justification. For this purpose, please contact cm_privacy@innogames.com, Your personal data will be deleted after receiving your declaration of revocation. You will not be subject to any disadvantages as a result of your revocation if you should subsequently apply for a position at InnoGames again.
5. How will my data be used?
The personal data that you provide will exclusively be used for the following purposes:
· receiving and processing your application.
· assessing qualifications/skills for a particular role.
· making a decision about your recruitment.
· determining whether you already applied for the position.
If you have agreed to the Talent Pool, as described in Section 4, your data may also be used to send you email updates about future opportunities.
6. Legal Basis
The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6, para. 1, lit. f GDPR and Sec. 26, para. 1 and 3 BDSG.
7. Will my data be transferred to third parties?
Your personal data will not be transferred to third parties unless you have explicitly provided consent for the transfer of your data, or there is an obligation for such transfer as a result of statutory provisions and/or requirements by authorities or courts.
8. Will my data be processed by third parties?
InnoGames utilizes third parties for supporting the communication with the applicants. When third parties are engaged for such support, InnoGames ensures that they possess adequate privacy and security measures, to protect your data in accordance with the requirements that apply at InnoGames itself.
Only those with the need-to-know will have access to your personal data. All those entrusted with data processing are either under the statutory obligation of confidentiality or are bound by a confidentiality agreement to maintain the confidentiality and security of your data.
Pursuant to a separate data processing agreement, your personal data will be processed by the following Partners in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR on our behalf:

9. Can I request access to my stored data?
Yes. You can request access to your stored data at any time. For this purpose, please contact cm_privacy@innogames.com.
10. Can I request the correction or deletion of my stored data?
Yes. You can delete your application and the information associated with it, by clicking in the link contained in the e-mail confirmation you received from us at the time of your application. The link remains valid as long as the application exists in our system. Clicking this link allows you to confirm the removal of the information permanently.
You can also request the correction or deletion of your stored data at any time by contacting us directly via cm_privacy@innogames.com.
